Mushishi #1 First Episode

Hmm. Can’t seem to find the words to describe it. There’s something about this series that makes it feel spooky to me, even though it’s not scary at all. It’s definitely different from your usual fare. Watching it made me sleepy — but in a good way. It’s a supernatural [...]

Mai-Hime #1 First Episode

1-2 Was quite interesting. Who’s that. What’s that? Hah, that was cliche but it’s still funny. Hmm, so magical powers eh? Oh well, interesting enough to keep watching. 3-7 Hmm. Planetes #26 Final Episode

1-26 through the weekend. End stories could have been knit together tighter, certain character development were iffy towards the end. Still, development is better than none. Maintained a certain level of science fiction realism with plausible political backdrops. Very decent music, animation, and directing. Another definite worthwhile watch.

Black Cat #23 Final Episode

This series was a complete pleasant surprise. The last few episodes definitely took a different turn, but for the better. Rushed a bit? Cliché ending obstacles? It doesn’t diminish the fact that the series contained great directing, music, and animation. Only 23 episodes, doesn’t drag on, highly watchable.
